FEELING STRESSED OUT

  1. Practice relaxation.

  2. Go for a walk.

  3. Meditate.

  4. Listen to music.

  5. Go to a quiet place, reduce distractions, rest.

FEELING NERVOUS?

  1. Get some physical exercise.

  2. Eliminate caffeine, alcohol and sugar from your diet.

FEELING BORED?

  1. Make a list of activities that you enjoy and then do one!

FEELING LONELY?

  1. Call a friend.

  2. Adopt a pet.

  3. Write a letter.

  4. Join a group.

  5. Take a class.

FEELING DEPRESSED?

  1. Identify why you are "down in the dumps".

  2. Describe your feelings in words or pictures.

  3. Talk it over with a friend, a family member or a psychologist.

FEELING FRUSTRATED?

  1. Figure out the source of your woes and confront them. State your position clearly and assertively.

FEELING TIRED?

  1. Take a nap.

  2. Do some exercise.

CAN'T SLEEP?

  1. Take a warm bubble bath scented with lavender.

  2. Drink some soothing herbal tea.

IS YOUR BODY ACHING?

  1. Soak in a tub of Epsom salts.

  3. Allow your feeling time to pass.

  4. Let them move freely through your body without resistance.

  5. Write your feelings in a letter or journal.

  6. Talk to friend or counselor.

  7. Have good cry.

WANT TO DEVELOP A POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE?
